I was inducted as Vicar on 6 January 2007, so am just finding my feet back in parish ministry.

My previous role was diocesan missioner for Lichfield diocese. This involved resourcing local churches and deaneries for evangelism and mission and co-ordinating a diocesan strategy for growth.

I am continuing as a trustee of Saltmine, a trust specialising in evangelism through the creative arts, and as a member of the Church of England's General Synod.

I am continuing to write a bit in my spare time. Having co-authored two books on evangelism, I'm currently working on a chapter for a book on the Eucharist.

Before coming to Lichfield diocese nine years ago, I was vicar of Baxenden in Lancashire and before that a prison chaplain and a curate in Lancaster and Blackburn.
